Now that the graduates have officially moved up and out of high school, It's time for 2020-2021 seniors to start thinking about their final year! The summer and early fall is the most popular time for senior photos. Aside from having great weather this time of year another reason why is BHS school yearbook deadlines are typically in October. New Year New Website

Excited to share my new website! This is also my first post in the new format blog. I just realized I've been blogging for 17 years! My first blog was all about the ins and outs of living in Virginia Beach. Then after I began Catie's Photography in 2006 I created my photoblog and been posting in that space ever since! To start off the new year I will share a session I photographed of the lovely Daberkow Family over winter break.

Indianola Pier Senior Session

I like to think I’ve been good about exploring our community and beyond since we moved here six years ago. Especially the Kitsap peninsula. But every once and awhile I am surprised by a hidden (or not so hidden) gem. The Indianola pier is that spot! I am so glad that Nolan and his family requested to have his senior photos here.  I will definitely be going back for another visit soon.
