Working with Michelle for her bridal session was like photographing a professional model… she really knows how to move in front of camera! It wasn’t all serious though – we had a lot of fun too. Michelle and Justin’s wedding was this past weekend – and what a wedding it was! Can’t wait to share their photos in a few weeks.

It wasn’t the warmest of May nights when I met the Prothro and Baker family in Sandbridge Beach, but they managed to have a good time and feel relaxed and warm in front of the camera. We did a series of large group photographs and then broke it down into smaller family groups. By the end of the session the youngest child was playing in the water despite the temps. This is how most of my family beach sessions end!
So my oldest friend tied the knot last weekend at the Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg. And I finally got to experience what it’s like to be the Maid of Honor. Well – actually I should say Matron of Honor, but that sounds so old. It was such a beautiful wedding and I appreciated being on the other side of the camera for a change. Although being the obsessed photographer I am – I couldn’t help but sneak a few shots of Nicole and Greg.
And I love this picture my husband captured of the happy couple leaving the church with me smiling at them. (I’m the last one on the right)
