I met the lovely Seala for her senior portraits at her favorite family place to camp – Fort Warden State Park on the Peninsula. It was my first time photographing there and I was impressed with so many great backdrops for photography. From the Fort, Vistas, and Beach with Olympic Mountains in the distance! Add that with Seala, a formally trained dancer who had such a grace about her that made for some really beautiful and unique senior photos.
Driving around Bainbridge Island on any given summer weekend you will often spot a sign wrapped around a street post for a wedding celebration. We have so many beautiful outdoor locations and the weather is so lovely this time of year. Not to mention the sun also doesn’t set until after 9:00! So setting up a tent and embracing nature on your wedding day is a perfect option for summer time on Bainbridge Island. Gabbi and Addison did just that at Hilltop (top of the Grand Forest) Their ceremony was outside in the orchard with a tented reception adjacent to the Pru House. Holly Rohrbachler helped put it all together and DJ Brant kept the party going inside. All in all a wonderful wedding day!
Happy New Year! I’m excited for all of my 2013 brides and groom’s as this year will be extra special for them! But before the new season begins I’d like to finish posting some of my work from late 2012. Starting with Heather and Liam’s lovely wedding at Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, NJ. What a beautiful location and couple!
