I often find myself smiling all day when photographing weddings. It’s a great feeling to end of day of work with your cheeks hurting! At Jessie and Nasser’s wedding in Port Townsend not only could I not stop smiling, I couldn’t stop laughing! These two were hilarious and full of so much love and energy it was infectious. The waterfront ceremony and reception at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend was no stuffy affair, it was a party!! There was so much dancing and great toasts that made you laugh until you cry.

Emily and Andrew had the trifecta of Bainbridge Island weddings for their weekend! First to introduce their guests to the Bainbridge horticulture with farm to table food & wine of BI they hosted their rehearsal dinner at the charming Heyday Farm. For their wedding they exchanged vows at the quaint Port Madison Church and celebrated at the sophisticated Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) for their reception. There is so much to offer for weddings on Bainbridge Island, it’s a great place to be a photographer.
I met the lovely Seala for her senior portraits at her favorite family place to camp – Fort Warden State Park on the Peninsula. It was my first time photographing there and I was impressed with so many great backdrops for photography. From the Fort, Vistas, and Beach with Olympic Mountains in the distance! Add that with Seala, a formally trained dancer who had such a grace about her that made for some really beautiful and unique senior photos.
