I like to think I’ve been good about exploring our community and beyond since we moved here six years ago. Especially the Kitsap peninsula. But every once and awhile I am surprised by a hidden (or not so hidden) gem. The Indianola pier is that spot! I am so glad that Nolan and his family requested to have his senior photos here. I will definitely be going back for another visit soon.

With spring around the corner I am excited to get outside to photograph families frolicking in the warm sunshine! But sometimes a winter session is a must – especially right around the holidays when families are together. The key is to be a little flexible and usually we can find a day when the weather is agreeable. Sometimes we get a few really nice ones in there! As was the case with the Love family. We had a beautiful evening for their photography session & with one of their children living in Nepal it was important to capture the family all together while she was here.
I love working at the Manor House for weddings. It’s the great venue to really showcase Bainbridge Island and have a lovely place to stay for your out of town guests. I think it’s also special to have a location where you can come back to celebrate an anniversary dinner or stay the night at the Inn. Alyssa and Ross will be celebrating their first Anniversary this June. Check out their beautiful wedding at the Manor House this past summer. My favorite moment from their day – blind folding Ross all the way to the end of the Point White pier in Crystal Springs for first look!
