Michelle and Ion were married at the botanical gardens. And although the rain did hamper there outdoor ceremony it didn’t stop these two from getting outside for some dramatic photographs including jumping in the fountain in the the pouring rain! It was definitely romantic and memorable! I also really loved their winter decor with evergreens and rustic elements.

It’s said that rain on your wedding day is good luck. However most couples would prefer to take their chances with superstition and hope for sunshine on their wedding day. If it was up to me I’d choose a partly cloudy day for the best lighting. :) But of course we don’t have any control over the weather and it’s one of the many changing elements that helps keep us wedding photographers on our toes. My two December weddings this past year were both filled with extra good luck! Below is Mariajose and Brett’s..
Jordan and Matt had originally wanted a beach wedding, but decided that having no control over the weather was too stressful. So they decided on the Contemporary Art Center – whose windows from floor to ceiling and trees make you feel like your outside. They must of had a sixth sense because the day of their wedding was rainy and humid. But in the late afternoon the sun came out and we were able to take some beach portraits after all. So Jordan and Matt had the best of both worlds the day of their wedding!
