Kara and Joe were married on the hottest day of the year with the heat index hitting 107 degrees. After the ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in Norfolk, the cocktail hour and reception began outdoors at the beautiful Hermitage Foundation Museum. And I’m not going to lie – it was steamy! But so was the love between Kara and Joe. The two are a perfect match!

Nicolette is a flight attendant and met Ron who is a airline pilot at work. So when the two decided to tie the knot they wanted to incorporate their love for flying. Each guest had a boarding pass the corresponded to the airline code on each table. They had flight attendants to check everyone in and a cake with blue sky and puffy clouds made from Cotton Candy. It was the one of the most creative wedding themes I’ve seen. The reception was held at Vista Point.
Sarah and Kevin celebrated their marriage at the Founders Inn. It was a beautiful fall affair. I love how they embraced late October by having pumpkin name holders. One of the most exciting parts of the evening was when Sarah and Kevin rocked the reception. If your not familiar with the term, it’s based off a TLC show where the bride and groom learn an upbeat choreographed dance and surprise everyone with it during their first dance. Sarah and Kevin chose Good Vibrations by Marky Mark – it was awesome!
