The Johnson Family are such an easy going and fun group to be around! I had a great time photographing them on Bainbridge Island, WA. Now’s the time to book your family photography sessions for Holiday cards and gifts before the weather turns!
Every year I get a few requests to photograph families in the winter. I’m always a little weary as my experience with working with people in the cold often means running noses, cranky kids and bulky sweaters that are often unflattering. But I understand that around the holidays is often the only time extended families get together so I usually give in and say let’s go for it. I’m happy to say that this year my winter family sessions were great! Yes, it was cold and the kids were doing jumping jacks to stay warm, but everyone was game and no unruly sweaters too boot! The first family is below – on one of the coldest mornings of 2015!
