As things wind down for the high school senior season I feel so grateful for to get the opportunity to meet these rising stars. If you feel like you missed out it certainly is not too late. Spring is a wonderful time to take senior photographs as well to create keepsakes, announcements and more.

I met Roslyn at Fort Warden, the same place I had photographed her sister's senior session a few years back - https://www.catiesphotography.com/post/art-and-dance-senior-session. It is a special place for their family and such a cool location for photography. Working here with the lovely and adventurous Rosyln felt very much like a commercial fashion shoot. Lots of different looks, locations, movements and even a bold dip in the water at the end!

Sometimes you get fun surprises during outdoor sessions. It's one of the things I like most about working in a uncontrolled environment! And it's these little things that can make each session even more unique and special. Wether it's a rainbow, ice cream truck or in this case horses I always try to take advantage of these little gifts. Especially when this senior happens to love horses! A special thank you to the owner for letting us get up close and personal with them.
